A licensed social worker in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, and a certified trauma professional. Jessica has spent her career working across the full continuum of substance use care—from detox to outpatient treatment. Her background includes working in non-profit residential programs focused on adolescent mental and behavioral health, supporting court-involved individuals through community action agencies, and contributing to grant-funded initiatives aimed at strengthening community-based substance use programs.
Advocacy has been a consistent thread throughout Jessica’s personal and professional life. She served for six years on the PAIMI (Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness) Advisory Council in New Jersey, where she worked to uphold the rights and dignity of individuals facing mental health challenges. In addition, she volunteered for four years with Amnesty International, further advancing her commitment to human rights and global justice. These experiences deepened her dedication to systemic change and underscored the importance of centering the voices of those with lived experience in shaping the services and policies that impact them. This perspective ultimately led her to focus her efforts on developing curricula for outpatient treatment programs.
As a certified trauma professional with a focus in cognitive processing therapy, at Ikon Jessica brings a trauma-informed lens to all aspects of her work. Deeply motivated by a genuine love for people and the connections created, Jessica finds great purpose in supporting others as they build and strengthen meaningful relationships. To Jessica, social work is about walking alongside individuals during some of their most important and challenging moments—offering support, guidance, and compassion.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys going to the gym, rollerblading, spending time at the beach, and hanging out with her dog, Mochi.
